Jasmin Jones - MSTOM, EAMP

My interest in Chinese Medicine started at the age of 16 where I spent my extracurricular high school time working in a herb and vitamin shop in Seattle. There I trained under an 80 year old Herbalist who used herbs to treat chronic diseases. I learned, through customer feedback, how vitamins and herbs worked to treat disease and ailments without side effects. I was hooked! After graduating high, school I attended WSU intending to major in communications. This path eventually took me to USAF where I spent 5 years. After experiencing heartache, I decided to follow my intuition and went back to school to become a healer.
I became a Massage Therapist after graduating from Baltimore School of Massage in 2001. As a LMT, I was lucky enough to work in diverse spas and clinics, which furthered my understanding of the human body, mind, and spirit. In 2007, I pursued a Master’s degree in Chinese Medicine and Herbology from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. After graduating in 2011, I volunteered with the Acupuncture Relief Project in Nepal. There I treated 700 local people, honed my skills, and was published in March 2013 for treating paralysis.
Following Nepal I worked as an Acupuncturist for Celebrity Cruise Lines, traveling throughout Europe. I was lucky enough to meet and treat people from all over the world, gaining valuable knowledge and experience.
In late 2013, I opened Whole Health Acupuncture, Herbs and More in Petersburg, Alaska. I treated the locals for several years and was honored to be part of their lives. In October 2017, I realized it was time to move forward. I bought a trailer and started traveling through US in search of my perfect home and warmer pastures. In December 2017, I landed in beautiful Gig Harbor, where I am grateful to say my dream of working in an integrative clinic has come true at Mt Rainier Clinic.
Over the past years of practice I have treated many health conditions with success including, but not limited to: pain of all types, anxiety, insomnia, arthritis, digestive issues, common cold, flu, addiction, MS, migraines, Parkinson’s, post stroke, pre and post-surgery, hormonal imbalances, and infertility. I enjoy utilizing a variety of healing modalities and bodywork in my treatments. I believe integrating ancient medicine with modern healthcare is a brilliant way to treat pain and disease. Being of service to people is my greatest achievement, and I would love to be part of your healing team here at Mt Rainier Clinic!
