Neural Therapy

Neural therapy is a procedure in alternative medicine in which a local anesthetic is injected into specific locations of the body aimed to treat chronic pain and illness.

Neural therapy works by diagnosing and treating illness and discomfort triggered by a disruptions of a person’s electrophysiology. These electrical disturbances are called "interference fields". Interference fields are indicators of cell membrane instability which often cause abnormal autonomic nervous system responses. Interference fields may be found in muscles, scar tissue, autonomic cysts, teeth, internal organs or other locations where local tissue irritation is present.

Neural therapy is an extraordinarily safe medical treatment. Neural Therapy uses common anesthetics, like procaine, which rarely cause allergic reactions. Most allergic reactions to these anesthetics in the past appear to have been triggered by preservatives such as methylparaben. These preservatives are not used by our physicians at Mt Rainier Clinic.
