Elmer Cranton MD was the original founder of the clinic practicing IV chelation and hyperbaric medicine. His son Jon took over the clinic seven years ago and has since retired. We are thankful for those practictioners in the past for their great insight and knowledge of alternative medicines.

Meet our Doctors
Dr. Russell Kolbo, DCND, and Dr. Karl Peterson, DCND have a combined experience of over 65 years in medical practice!

Karl D. Peterson, DCND

Karl D. Peterson is a second generation Chiropractor and Naturopathic Physician. He was born and raised in Gig Harbor, Washington. A 1981 graduate of Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon and a 1983 graduate from Bastyr University, Seattle, Washington. Dr. Peterson has extra training in advanced IV therapies and pharmacy classes leading to a DEA certification in prescriptive rights. He also has 42.5 extended hours from the Nix Memorial Hospital in San Antonio, Texas specializing and leading to certification in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Dr. Peterson has been working with the last 25 years for the NW Naturopathic Physicians Convention in which he is a board member and chairs the Seattle/NW convention the world's longest Naturopathic Physicians convention. He currently practices full time in Gig Harbor and also serves as a claims analyst for American Specialty Health Companies in San Diego as well as an Independent Medical Evaluation Specialist for several other Insurance Companies.

Russell L. Kolbo, DCND

Dr. Russell Kolbo grew up in Leavenworth & Federal Way, Washington graduating from Federal Way High School.  He obtained his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1969 from National College of Chiropractic, in Lumbard, Illinois and his Naturopathic Doctorate in 1971 from National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Seattle, WA. He was in private practice until 2001 in Tacoma, WA.   In 2002 he was elected to the office of vice president by the International Association of Colon Hydrotherapists and in 2005 to 2009 was president of I-ACT.  Dr. Kolbo has helped organize the NW Naturopathic Associations annual convention for many years, both as chair and as a NW regional officer.  In 2005 he was honored by the Foundation for East/West Medicine.  He has taught colon hydrotherapy at Bastyr University and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine conventions numerous years.  He currrently is a guest speaker at Bastyr University for their annual colon hydrotherapy classes. 

He returned to private practice in 2008 in Gig Harbor, WA., after enjoying Maui, Hawaii for 12 years organizing many associations while in private business.  Dr. Kolbo has completed extra courses in IV therapy and Anti-aging along with IV Nutrient therapy and has studied hyperbaric oxygen therapy as a adjunct to helping chronic illnesses.

Dr. Millie Arocho MD has a practice limited to Women’s Health Care on Thursdays and by appointment.  Dr. Arocho comes from Yelm to fill in a gap in the Gig Harbor area needed for examination and consultation for women.
